We currently stock 6 different options of LaserPly , offering several different grades.

B/BB This grade will have some imperfections eg. knots and plugs on one side, but will have a clean finish on the other.

BB/BB This grade will have permissable imperfections eg. knots and plugs on both sides .

BR/BR This grade is similar to B grade with allowing discolouration
(color, shades of yellow/other shades) and showing natural birch characteristics. BR
grade may contain colour defects, small streaks, open and closed splits and some knots or knotholes max. 8mm dia.

LaserPlyEURO (new from Sep 24)
This new product is sourced from sustainable forests in Northern Europe/the Baltic States. Birch plywood throughout and sanded both sides. This is BB/BB grade but it is far superior to the Russian equivalent we previously stocked.

Currently stocked in 3.0mm , 4.0mm and 6mm.

LaserPlyPREMIER
Very strong Finnish Birch used for hockey sticks, snow boards etc . Stocked in 0.8mm, 1.5mm and 3.0mm This is BR/BR grade.

LaserPlyLITE
Poplar plywood from Italy. Around 30% lighter than normal plywood so ideal for lower-powered lasers. Stocked in 3.0mm, 4.0mm, 6.0mm & 9.0mm. This is B/BB grade.

LaserPlyLITE with Birch-faced veneer
Poplar plywood core with Birch-faced veneer both sides. Manufactured in Italy. Stocked in 3.0mm, 4.0mm, 6.0mm & 9.0mm. This is B/BB grade.

LaserPlyLite with Maple veneer

Poplar plywood core with Maple veneer both sides. Stocked in 3.0mm and 4.0mm. This is B/BB grade.

LaserPlySTANDARD
Birch plywood from Russia B/BB grade. Was the standard material for model-making but unable to source since the invasion of Ukraine. Normally stocked in 3.0mm, 4.0mm, 5.0mm, 6.0mm & 9.0mm.

LaserPlyBUDGET
Birch plywood from Russia. this was a lower grade BB/BB. Only recommended where the item will be painted. Unable to source since the war with Ukraine. Normally stocked in 3.0mm, 4.0mm, 5.0mm , 6.0mm and 9mm.

ExteriorPly
Not strictly a LaserPly but we continue to stock it for customers wanting the option of a ply they can use outside. This is Finnish Birch BR/BR grade and stocked in 0.8mm and 1.5mm.
