Finally!

Brilliant wood a perfect replacement for the Russian stuff and a great cost. Other companies have supplied me with supposedly birch ply but I doubted it, this is the real deal, and a real deal! Be nice to see 6mm in the future if possible!

Cuts clean and fast

At last - a proper replacement for Russian birch. I use 80W laser and this is cutting fast on 80% power. Grade BB so it has a few patch infills, but they have good fit and are cutting through cleanly (unlike previous Russian). Smooth surface, very few slits in outer surface (grade BB so some expected). I am using 800x400 sheets, one supplied with grain cut across the short dimension - no problem for me but be aware it happens. I was testing the 4mm thick (within spec at 3.8mm) - will now buy more 4mm and also 3mm. Well done Hobarts.
