Hobarts engineers are extensively trained in the different versions of Laserscript laser cutters. For every machine serviced we will carry out a comprehensive check to ensure the machine is working at its peak performance. Very few of our customers who have regular annual services, ever require an emergency visit due to our stringent servicing methods.

Laserscript Compatible Tubes

Hobarts hold a large selection of compatible laser tubes manufactured by SPT, for all models and wattages. If you are experienced in replacing these tubes, we can supply direct to you for installation.

On the laser tube product pages you will find walk-through videos on replacing and connecting the tube and then aligning the laser. Find your tube below.

Hobarts can install Laserscript tubes as part of your annual service or a standalone call out

Because of the complex nature of these CO2 tubes, Hobarts offer a tube installation service. Contact us to discuss your Laserscript machine and your location for a full quotation.

Laserscript tubes can also be installed as part of a routine service. If you think your laser tube is not performing to its maximum ability, then it might be time to change it. If booked in with a service you can save on a second call out charge.

Controller Upgrades

Can our Laserscript machine be better?

A controller upgrade can give your laser cutter a new lease of life.

Some older Laserscript machines come with an old controller called Leetro Lasercut 5.3. This old controller limits the control and creativeness that the laser cutter is capable of. Upgrading to the Ruida Controller and RDWorks Software would give a new lease of life to an older machine.

RDWorks is the standard software which is supplied free of charge when purchasing a Ruida Controller.

RDWorks offers the following functionality:

  • Control of the machines speed and power settings via the software interface
  • Programming of independent layers for different speed and power settings
  • Basic drawing functions
  • Basic edit functions such as move, resize, mirror and offset
  • Work simulation and preview
  • Compatible with Windows XP – 10. 32 and 64 bit available
  • Low CPU and RAM usage

This high frequency CO2 laser power supply is developed and manufactured by SPT Laser an authoritative laser power supply manufacturer. The product is small in size, light in weight, easy to operate and has a high matching degree with CO2 laser tube. It allows CO2 laser tubes to have low startup and high response frequency, to improve their photoelectric conversion efficiency and give full play to its performance. With its open-circuit protection function, it can avoid damage to laser power supply caused by no-load condition, improving the stability and service life of the laser power supply.
