I use this material for control panels for electronic equipment, backlighting the engraved areas.
My only suggestion would be to put different film on the front and back, as someone else has already commented
It is a great material, it cut easily and successfully.

Perspex duo, gold over black used for memorial plaques. Laser cut and engraved, one cut as an arc of a circle to go around edge of table.
