LaserPlyLITE – Italian Poplar plywood grade B/BB available in 3mm, 4mm, 6mm and 9mm

LaserPlyLite plywood is produced in southern Europe. It is approximately 30% less dense than Russian Birch Ply and therefore cuts much easier especially on lower powered lasers.

In tests comparing this with Russian Birch ply, we reduced power setting by 30% and increased speed setting by 10% and achieved excellent results.

Layers/plies: 3mm and 4mm has 3 layers, 6mm has 5 layers and 9mm has 7 layers

*Ideal for lasers with low power*

*Larger sheets maybe available - please ask*

***All dimensions are nominal - sheets maybe supplied up to 2mm undersize on each edge***

Thickness tolerance for this product is +0.2mm/-0.4mm

Good wood

Hi I found the wood was good to cut but the laser did struggle in places.
It also had a bend in it but that could be down to delivery however all that said I will be buying again oh and always could do with being a bit cheaper

Laser ply ,Italian Poplar plywood

Having tried this plywood out on my laser machine, there are times when I am engraving an image and then the plywood pops and a little flame occurs for a split second ,just wondering if it is something in the glue or some other thing causing it to do this

Great laser ply

Bought another packet of laser plywood, it great it maybe grade B, but it great to work with. A light sand to get rid of any burn marks. Will definitely be buying more.
