We have stopped buying Russian Birch plywood until the hostilities in Ukraine cease. We have limited stocks which we will sell to our customers on a first-come, first-served basis.
As an alternative, we recommend PlyLITE an Italian Poplar which is lighter and is less dense. We can also supply this material with a Birch-faced veneer.

Hobarts were delighted to be contacted by Wilkinson Eyre Architects when the time had come for the company to invest in another Universal laser.

Since their inception in 1983, they have built a portfolio of bold, beautiful, intelligent architecture in sectors as diverse as culture, sport and leisure, education, infrastructure, residential, office and large-scale masterplanning.
After an initial consultation with WilkinsonEyre and careful consideration it was decided the PLS6.75 – 60 Watt laser was the best option to suit their needs. The PLS6.75 is a free-standing platform designed and engineered for light manufacturing operations and batch production.
The PLS6.75 can accept all Universal laser cartridges for a power range of 10-75 watts. The PLS6.75 offers a material processing envelope of 32″ x 18″ x 9″, 5,184 in³ and is particularly suited for manufacturing and production environments. Laser Interface+ and Rapid Reconfiguration are standard Uniquely Universal features on the PLS6.75, and a number of additional options are available to enhance your laser processing capabilities.
