Conrad Shawcross RA is a British artist specialising in mechanical sculptures based on philosophical and scientific ideas. Shawcross is the youngest living member of the Royal Academy of Arts.
Hobarts were delighted to be contacted by the prestigious designer Conrad Shawcross, as the company were keen to bring their laser work in-house.
Conrad Shawcross were looking to purchase a laser that offered ease of use with brilliant results, as staff had used and enjoyed a Universal Laser in previous work settings they were keen to replicate this.

The team were looking to invest in a laser offering a good bed size and power to give them versatility with all their upcoming projects.
After reviewing various machine options, the team decided on a Universal Laser VLS6.75, with a generous 60 Watt laser cutting power.
