Hobarts were delighted to be contacted by Vodafone Foundation (through a word of mouth recommendation) to see if we could help with a fundraising campaign. The brief from Vodafone was to supply bespoke, laser cut wooden Christmas tree decorations, hand finished with festive red and white string.
Whilst not part of our standard offering, the staff in the office rose to this Christmas challenge and donned their elf hats to laser cut 1,500 wooden baubles on our in-house VLS6.60 and VLS6-75 machines. These machines were perfect to deal with the scale of the job and a Santa’s workshop was in operation to get the job completed on time.
The Vodafone Foundation Communications and Fundraising Manager, Natasha Dalton commented that Hobarts were a pleasure to work with and went above and beyond expectations and in her words ‘I cannot tell you how THRILLED we are with the finished decorations’. Throughout the production process, we were credited with offering helpful advice and support to create a high quality, great value product.
The decorations will raise funds and awareness for Vodafone Foundation’s #ShineALight campaign, which is dedicated to supporting charitable programmes that use technology to improve girls’ access to education, informal learning and health services.
