Lancaster University purchase their first Universal Laser from Hobarts!

Hobarts were delighted to be contacted by Lancaster University when the time had come for them to invest in a new laser cutter.

Lancaster University is a highly ranked global university, it’s among the best in the UK. Top 10 in all three major national league tables.

Lancaster University has been named University of the Year by The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018. It has also taken the top spot for Best Campus University and Best University in the North West.

After discussing the University’s requirements with the Hobarts Sales team, it was decided a VLS6.60 -60 watt laser cutter was the perfect fit.

With room inside to cut materials up to 813 x 457mm and a 60 watt laser that can cut up to an impressive 12mm thickness, the VLS6.60 laser cutter will be able to offer all the flexibility the students will need.
