Hobarts are delighted to once again be working with Imperial College London, supplying a new VLS2.30DT – 30 Watt Laser to the Department of Chemistry.
The VLS2.30DT is the smallest desktop in the Universal range, due to the excellent design of this laser it still boasts a great bed size of (406mm X 305mm) and with 30 watts of power has the ability to cut up to 5mm in all laserable materials.
This laser, coupled with a top of the range extraction unit - BOFA AD Base1 Oracle brings a wealth of flexibility as the extraction doubles up as a workstation making it really compact and super easy to move around if needed. The AD Base1 filters all harmful fumes from the laser cutter, meaning the laser cutter can be used all day long without putting students at harm.
We wish the Department of Chemistry Team at Imperial College London well with their new laser and look forward to continuing working closely with them and supplying all their lasering requirements in the future.
