The John Lyon School had a brief to purchase the best possible laser cutter on the market for their new Makerspace.
Hobarts were recommended to the school by other local Hobarts customers and we were delighted to get involved with the project.
After a site visit to assess the ‘tricky’ access to the new Makerspace the school decided a VLS6.75 50 watt system with AD Oracle iQ extraction unit would fit their criteria.
The VLS6.75 is the largest VLS platform in the range and with 50 watts has the capability to cut up to 10mm material. The AD Oracle iQ extraction system is ‘best in its class’ with unrivalled performance at this level.
Time was critical and Hobarts yet again rose to the occasion. From date of order, it took just 21 days to get a system installed and commissioned.
As well as getting an industrial specification machine, the school also receive the best service and support from a ‘local’ supplier. What could be better?
