Hobarts biggest project to date was the recent installation at the Architectural Association

Our biggest project to date was the installation at the School of Architecture at the Architectural Association. The AA, for over 170 years, has been the preeminent educational establishment for architects; they have had several of our lasers for over 15 years and were keen for Hobarts to provide a solution to replace their tired and heavily used lasers with the latest state of the art equipment for their new digital prototyping lab.

Early one April morning, 4 new laser machines were hoisted high above the London traffic in Bedford Square to their new home in the brand new Digital Technology Lab at the AA.

No small desktops here! 4 new ILS9.150D models with bed sizes of 914x610mm, each with 100 watts of power.

The perfect machines to be used by the architects of tomorrow.

Not to forget, of course, 4 very highly specified AD 1000 iQ extraction systems. What a great start to the year!

Hobarts has now sold and installed 13 ILS systems and the only XLS system in the UK. No other distributor is qualified to install and support these machines here in the UK.
