National Trust of Scotland awarded a lottery grant to purchase a Hobarts laser cutter

Hobarts were delighted to be contacted by the National Trust of Scotland (NTS), after they were awarded a lottery grant to purchase a new laser cutter to be used at Inverewe’s beautiful botanical gardens.

NTS were looking to purchase a laser cutter that would be used to etch labels for the plants in the wonderful botanicals on the west coast shores of Loch Ewe.

Hobarts were contacted by NTS to discuss the extensive range of laser cutters available to them. After talking through their requirements it was agreed that the VLS2.30 would be the best suited laser cutter for their budget.

The VLS2.30 is perfectly sized to complete this job without taking up to much space in their workshop, with a 30 watt laser this is a versatile laser cutter that will etch, engrave beautifully and cut up to 5mm in all laserable materials.
